About wheel alignment

HB Auto & AC does not perform wheel alignments. Some suspension and steering repairs change alignment angles. When that is the case we will tell you before the work is done, so you can plan for an alignment afterward.

Questions we hear often

How long do shocks and struts last?

It varies with the vehicle and the roads you drive. Many are worn by 50,000 to 100,000 miles. Inspection is the reliable way to know.

Is a clunking noise dangerous?

It can be. A clunk may be a worn sway bar link, which is minor, or a ball joint, which is a safety item. Have it inspected.

Do you do alignments?

No. We do not offer wheel alignment.

Why are my tires wearing unevenly?

Worn suspension parts, incorrect tire pressure and alignment angles are the usual causes. We can inspect the suspension and tires and tell you what we see.
