Common electrical symptoms
- Slow cranking or a click with no start
- A battery that keeps going dead
- A battery or charging warning light
- Dim or flickering lights
- Windows, locks, wipers or blower that work sometimes
- Fuses that blow repeatedly
Battery, starting and charging
A no-start is not always the battery. We test the battery’s condition, the starter’s current draw and the alternator’s output, and we check cables and grounds. If the battery keeps draining overnight, we measure parasitic draw to find the circuit that is staying awake.
Wiring and module faults
Modern vehicles run dozens of control modules on shared networks. We use wiring diagrams and test equipment to trace opens, shorts and poor connections, and we check for water intrusion and corrosion, which are common near the coast.
What we repair
- Batteries, terminals and cables
- Starters and alternators
- Fuses, relays and wiring repair
- Exterior and interior lighting
- Power windows, locks and seats
- Blower motors and climate control circuits
- Sensors and switches
